Good Service

Last weekend i send my motorcycle to workshop for maintainance and servicing routines..Lucky that day there are workshop that run their business even on Sunday..

At first i just want to change the exhausted parts like brake pad, chain and spocet, clutch speed and rear tire..all the cost is about RM160..Feel glad the cost still below my budget..

All the mechanics are Malays but the taukeh is chines, not racist here or anything  just mentioning Hihihii..One of the mechanics told me that some part of my clutch also need to replace due to it become wear, if i refuse the result of engine performances will same as before.

After discussed and negotiated with the taukeh i replace the part which is auto and it holding..now the cost become RM240 huhuuhu..Now it over my budget Huhuhuhu..I looking to my motorcycle and think again better i repair the broken head covers too..Again i'm asking for the price and then i decide to change head cover and front lamp cover due to this thing have annoying me with unpleasing sound and vibration for almost 3 years..At last total of the costs are RM300..

After finished i ride my bike return home with new condition of my motor engine..I satisfied the condition now, no vibrating on head covers, more pick-up and even gear engagement become more smooth..

Unfortunately at about 6p.m, i aware that the new head covers has broken with crack waiting to broken also..Arghhhhhhhhh..bcoz of that, i delayed return to UTM on a next day..

On the next day i went back to the workshop and informed the taukeh about the problem..without any argument he ask her mechanics to replace the cover..Alhamdullilah there are still a taukeh that can give a good service to their customer, i bet if other workshop they will claim the cover broken is due to my fault..

Thank You SPEED MOTOR PARIT RAJA...

New Place & Enviroment

This week i moving to other lab due to my senior who stayed there before was finished his study and now the lab is empty. Got a lot of work to do,i need to 5S the lab, setup the computer with a setup i familiar with, find a new friend there and so on.

Yesterday i done a housekeeping at the lab, like usual there are many unnecessary things they keep there (most of that is paper and catalog). Just wonder why many peoples like to keep the thing they not using but assume one day they will need the thing. Did they never realize such of this thing will cost a storage place.

I'm also like that before, keeping the thing that i not using, want to throw it but feel so badly, but now i manage to avoid the feeling, i don't like to keep unused thing or item anymore i rather buy a new one when i need them.

Talking about 5S, 5S is the name of a workplace organization methodology that uses a list of five Japanese words Seiri-Seiton-Seisō-Seiketsu- Shitsuke (quote from wiki). Although i know this method since i started worked part time before, i don't know why so hard to practice it as my habit. However from time to time i try to make it.
Seiri - what i understand on this word is sorting or keep the thing we use and discard all the unnecessary thing.

Seiton - This word means arrange the thing or item tidily and at their proper location.

Seiso - Sweeping or Shining or Cleanliness but not just simple like that this work must be done scheduled like in my case at the lab i will sweep the lab once i'm coming and leaving. I don't want to make it an occasional activity initiated when things get too messy.

Seiketsu - Standardized in other word i must understand know exactly the upper 3S method and keep it going every day.

Shitsuke - Make it as our habit.

i add one more method actually my previous company added it which is safety.

Ok that all, Hope u all can prctice it to...
